How we keep the platform safe

Verified Listings

Every Professional on TradeLynq goes through account verification before their listing goes live. We confirm identity and contact details, and require that Professionals accurately represent their qualifications. Listings that misrepresent credentials are removed immediately.

Honest Reviews

Our review system is built on one rule: honest feedback is never removed on a Professional's behalf. Five stars can be earned — not bought. Every rating reflects real client experiences, and our moderation team enforces that standard rigorously.

Your Data, Protected

IP addresses are stored as one-way cryptographic hashes — we cannot reverse them to identify you. Passwords are never stored in plain text. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We comply with the T&T Data Protection Act 2011.

Audit Logging

Every significant action on the platform — login, enquiry, booking, review — is recorded in an immutable audit log. This log is the backbone of our dispute resolution process and enables us to detect and respond to suspicious activity quickly.

WhatsApp Support

Safety issues don't wait for email. Our primary support channel is WhatsApp, because that's how Trinidad operates. Reach a real person quickly if you encounter fraud, harassment, or urgent concerns.

Fraud Detection

Rate limiting, anomaly detection, and behavioural analysis protect the platform from fake accounts, review manipulation, and spam. Accounts that trigger fraud signals are reviewed and may be suspended pending investigation.
